Heterotrophic nutrition is a mode of nutrition in which organisms depend upon other organisms for food to survive. They can't make there food own like Green plants.Heterotrophic organisms have to take in all the organic substances they need to survive.

Heterotrophs are known as consumers because they consume producers or other consumers. Dogs, birds, fish, and humans are all examples of heterotrophs.

Chemoautotrophs Chemoautotrophs  are organisms that obtain their energy from a chemical reaction (chemotrophs) but their source of carbon is the most oxidized form of carbon, carbon dioxide (CO 2 ). Some examples of chemoautotrophs are-  sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, nitrogen-fixing bacteria and iron-oxidizing bacteria. Cyanobacteria are included in the nitrogen-fixing bacteria that are categorized as  chemoautotrophs . Chemoautotrophs  are  commonly found  in environments where plants cannot survive, such as at the bottom of the ocean, or in acidic hot springs.
